Sterling also provides Glass Cockpit Transition Training in its technologically Advanced Cirrus Aircraft. This training helps the applicant understand the glass cockpit instrumentation using a Primary Flight Display (PFD) and a Multi-Function Display (MFD) with advanced features. Glass cockpit training is highly recommended by the airlines to the applicants who plan to fly for them. Having experienced the use of PFD and MFD in the early stages of commercial training helps the applicant better understand the cockpit and displays in larger aircraft because of their similarities. Past experience have shown better performance by the applicants who were familiar with the glass cockpit.

Our program consists of 10 hours* of transition training in a Cirrus SR-20 aircraft with an instructor.
